The job:
To replace old rotten, wooden windows with new uPVC units (frames kindly donated by Sierra Windows - glass provided at cost by West Country Windows).
The result:
All possible windows (i.e. 19 in total) were fitted.
Added benefits:
Cockroach infested wood in kitchen removed and replaced with concrete & tiles
Orphanage staff inspired to clean, paint and tidy
Local people & businesses showing an interest in the work
Made new contacts including Deputy Mayor

Next:
Underpin area of building with subsidence (Bulgarian Builders will do this)
Take a team out to repair the roof
Raise a lot more money to achieve the above
