PROJECTS

Over the years we have undertaken a number of projects from the very small to the very large.
Although the projects may be quite diverse and varied they all have one thing in common - they improve the lives of the Children and/or help to equip them with the skills they need to improve their lives.

Our current project is the Summer School on the outskirts of Varna - you can read more about this at the SCHOOL page.

Other possible projects under consideration are:

Krivnia Orphanage - we would like to be able to build a playground in this Orphanage for Children with learning difficulties. We are also aware that for the sake of a little paint we could really cheer up their bedrooms.

Jewellery Project - We would like to establish a Jewellery Project in one or more of the Orphanages. The idea being that we provide all the materials and training. The Children make the Jewellery and send it to us to sell on their behalf. All funds raised will be ploughed back into their Education. Vocational skills such as these will be of considerable value.

‘IF’ project - IF stands for Improving Futures. We hope to be able to bring Young adults to the UK for training. At 18, when the Children leave the Orphanages, we would like to bring them to the UK where they can learn English, receive work experience opportunities, train for qualifications such as Catering, Hygiene, Health & Safety etc. After one year it would our aim to send them back to Bulgaria with references, certificates and good English where the Hope & Future Foundation will mentor them, help them find accommodation and help them find work.
Ideally, we would like to be able to start a savings fund for them so that they will have sufficient money for things such as work clothing, travel to interviews, tools & equipment, deposit for a flat etc.
